Bobby Pinnock Six People In Nursing Homes Dead Due to Hurricane Irma
Three died the the home, while the other three died after being transported to another facility.
I think we should take better precautions for Natural Disasters.
I agree. We're grateful enough to get warnings of hurricanes so at least we have a decent amount of time to prepare. Even though no one is capable of stopping nature, some preparation is better than none.
This is so sad. I wish we were able to predict hurricanes better, it is nice to have the warning so far ahead of time, but it is hard to predict their pathway until it is too late.
This is horrible. I wish we had more things in place to protect people in natural disasters. Also I know how important pets are to people, but I think we should save the people first so the pets have some one to go to.
While this is a horrible situation, I don't think it is completely the fault of the people working at the nursing homes. They, too, have families and homes that need to be protected and they may have, understandably, chosen to protect them over the people who are already weak or dying.

ReplyDeleteThis is extremely sad. Its good to shed light on tragedies like these, so that they are made aware and so they do not happen again.
