Mayor Caught Red Handed Jack Mckay

Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York, was caught red handed at Staten Island's Goodfella's eating pizza with cutlery! New Yorkers of all types were appalled by this blasphemous act. While eating at a table with ten other business men, he blatantly dishonored New York tradition of eating pizza with your hands, folded style. Some tried to support him by saying he was just trying to be polite but others went as far as to call him, a tourist! When accused of this heinous crime, he simple said "thats how they eat pizza in Itlay." Many found this to be a valid point, but this was New York for goodness sakes and it just wasn't right.

I am not exaggerating. This is how the article described it and it did mention how it sparked a trending topic on twitter. I think its ridiculous the amount of attention this is getting. This shouldn't be classified as a current event, but it is. This is the kind of information that people care about now a days and i find that a little disconcerting. Yes, this is interesting, but to search "current events" in google and have this show up is sad and even annoying.

Hmm.. I didn't know that there were right and wrong ways to eat pizza! I almost feel bad for this Mayor, for getting so much attention over a silly opinion on eating. Now I will have to try out different ways of eating pizza.. maybe New York Style

  2. I think you may be misinterpreting the people's views. I bet a lot of it is a joke. But then again maybe there's a serious cultural pride.

  3. I found this article to be kinda funny; however, I do understand how some people were "offended" by the mayor using silverware. Both of my parents are from New York so I understand the whole cultural pride thing. I also think that some people are taking this a little too far though.
