After tension increases between the US, their allies and North Korea over the newly enforced sanctions, North Korea launches a missile over Japan for the second time. North Korea also released the statement that the four Japanese islands would be "sunken into the sea by the nuclear bomb of Juche,". However, Japan released a statement that despite the high tension they still strived for peace between the two countries and a solution. Meanwhile, South Korea takes all measures to ensure that their people are safe and prepared in case North Korea carries out their promise. This begins with fire drills and reports updating the citizens in case any real threat arises. South Korean President, Moon Jae-in's spokesperson claimed that their military had been ordered "to prepare a stern measure that can effectively counter North Korea's increasing nuclear and military threats." Japan's citizens recently took a poll that claimed that they approved of the idea of the US's deployment of nuclear weapons that were within the country. However, President Moon Jae-in claimed it could, "lead to a nuclear arms race in northeast Asia."
I agree that for now we should hold off on the idea of deploying our weapons onto North Korea. Starting a war is dangerous, especially since we have no idea what North Korea is capable of and no idea what our president will do about it. I'd rather defend than attack, and coming at a country as reckless and unpredictable is just dangerous as it is arrogant.
