Shoot at Hurricane Irma-Joaquin Sanchez

A facebook joke event called,"Shoot at Hurricane Irma" started a big trend to shoot at the horrible and relentless hurricane. More than 54,000 people have signed up for the Facebook event of Shoot Hurricane Irma. A local sheriff in Pasco County tweeted to not shoot Hurricane Irma because it won't make it go back and it has dangerous effects. Also saying that bullets comes back!  The person who has originally started the Shoot at Hurricane Irma has said that he was bored and didn't think anyone would take it seriously. But now it has become something a little out of control. This event reminds me of the clown out break in the fall of 2016. People dressing up as clowns became an epidemic, many fearing for their lives. I remember seen on Instagram to shoot any clowns you see, because dangerous people could be hiding under the clown suit. Which I thought was a joke until I started seeing on the news clowns getting shot, seeing YouTube videos of people running up to clowns with guns yelling get out of here! It was a very unsafe time to be out and about. The author for the shoot at Hurricane article is Holly T Moore. The article was published September 10, 2017 on USA today website. This newsletter was written to tell people not to shoot their guns at hurricane Irma because it's ineffective and someone can get hurt. I think the main audience are people who are being attacked by Hurricane Irma.
