Hurricane Maria- Hannah Karim

Hurricane Maria is soon to surface the shores of Puerto Rico in the next few days. After the moderate damage they suffered from Irma, this hurricane is expected to be catastrophic. With winds over 100 mph and a category 4 rating, Hurricane Maria is expected to cause severe damage to islands in its path. With a hurricane this powerful, the power in Puerto Rico might not be restored to the whole island for months at a time. Since PR is in a major financial crisis, this is not going to be a good thing for them. Since their technology is not to date, they don't have a way of knowing the exact times of the hurricane's hit and how it should affect them.
It is important that we know about this because the United States is the landholder for the Island of Puerto Rico. They are suffering with major financial debt and Maria is only going to make things work. We can help mend some of their suffering with we know the severity of what's to come.
