Hepatitis outbreak-Joaquin Sanchez

Hepatitis outbreak in San Diego, leaving 15 dead and 300 hospitalized. A weekly sanitary street washing has begun to help fight the deadly virus. Many of the affected people were homeless people who didn't have adequate access to restrooms or showers. The country gave San Diego 5 days to come up with a "fecally contaminated environment" plan. But much work must be done because 400 new hepatitis cases have sprung up in multiple cities. Part of the San Diego plan is to install hand-washing stations around the city, so far they have installed 40 stations. Also they are opening vacccination clinics in public libraries. Hopefully the hepatitis outbreak will be contained, and not be problematic to people's health. This type of outbreak reminds me of the ebola outbreak in September 30, 2014. A man who brought the virus had traveled to Dallas,Texas from Liberia .The man did not have symptoms when leaving Liberia, but developed symptoms approximately four days after arriving in the United States. This article was written by Paul Sisson, who is an author for the Los Angles Times. This newsletter was written for the soul purpose to let people know there is a deadly virus outbreak in San Diego and multiple other cities. This article is important because people everywhere needs to know when there is a deadly virus outbreak somewhere in the world, maybe to even cautious them
