Current Event- Ellen Whitehead

The strongest storm to hit the Dominica is heading its way towards Puerto Rico. The winds of 160 mph have destroyed Dominica. These winds are headed toward south east United States, near the same path as Irma. This storm is even worse because it is hitting on territories that have recently been hit by Irma. Homes that have already been destroyed will be destroyed even further. The brings the plans for reconstruction to the cities even more elaborate because the cities are getting hit even worse. Trump has already called for emergency evacuations in the US territories in the path of Maria.

  2. The people effected by Irma have barely made a dent in returning to their previous state and the fact that they are going to be hitting again by a stronger storm is devastating. I hope that Maria will lose some strength and not be so harsh.
