Another deadly hurricane is on its way. -Madeline Sabedra

I has been less than two weeks since hurricane Irma hit. There is already another category 1 hurricane on the radar. It is forecast to continue moving toward the eastern Caribbean. The first occurence of this hurricane (Hurricane Maria) are expected to happen within soon, and warnings have already been sent out. Deadly flash flooding and mudslides are expected. A hurricane watch is taking place in the US Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, St. Maarten/St.Martin, St. Barthelemy, and Anguilla. Many of these places were already affected by hurricane Irma, and it is devestating to hear that they may have to go through a similar event.

Hurricane Maria is expected to be just as dangerous/deadly as hurricane Irma. I feel that this is a very important article because we need to always be aware of the natural disasters that may be happening around us. Hurricane Irma was devestating, and if hurricane Maria is anything like Irma, we need to be able to come together again in order to help those who are affected.

  1. I agree with you this is yet another horrible hurricane. We need to unite and help the people of the affected islands. So there is no more people that die.
