On Sunday, September 17th, four college students, three of them Americans, were attacked by a mentally unstable woman in a Marseilles train station. All the victims are women and juniors in college. Boston College, the university in charge of three of the students, has identified them as participants in their study-abroad program. Two were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of burns and have been released since then. The other two were in shock after the attack but appear to be fine as of right now. The US and French embassy have been in contact with each other and the families of the four students regarding the incident. French authorities have also made an announcement stating that the attack was not terror-related.

How the heck did the woman get her hands on acid? Acid as in the "burning skin" type of acid?
