There have always been many different opinions about Donald Trump, even before he became the president. Now that he holds office, he is under even more scrutiny. Many exceptions have been made for him since he became president. People are beginning to wonder whether these exceptions are because he is held to a different standard due to the decisions he's made or if these "exceptions" are simply privilege.

I never understood why this man was elected president. Morals and opinions aside, he was a real estate investor. He never had experience with politics or the military, just the economy. While I understand that we are in massive debt, I am still baffled by how his job and experience qualified him for president. He is probably just as clueless as the rest of us as to how one should run a nation- isn't that reason enough to make sure he is overseen by the law? No matter how grand his ideas may seem, they could be potentially dangerous. Checks and balances are what keeps the president from making permanent damage on our country. It doesn't matter what and how exceptions were made, it just matters that they were. It is our job as people to make sure Trump is being overseen in office just like every president before him.

  1. Trump didn't have any political experience previous to his election. I think it's crazy how someone who has had as many scandals as him to even be considered to be elected for president.
