Summary: Underneath the Hudson river, in Manhattan, New York, lies a subway tunnel. A 100-year-old, crumbling, dangerous, subway tunnel - that carries 200,000 riders a day. Under the Obama administration, the 12.7 billion dollar cost to repair the tunnel was funded. Under our new President, however, these funds have been retracted, citing the Obama deal as, "nonexistent". Now, 200,000 subway passengers every day, could be in major jeopardy.

Position: Trump needs to understand the severity of this situation. A massive amount of civilian lives are at a severe potential risk. he needs to give them this funding, so that a large section of America's infrastructure can survive and prosper.

  1. While issues about immigration should be focused on, it’s not the only issue this country has. He needs to try to find balance in addressing multiple issues at once, not ignoring them altogether.
