Isabel Wyatt- Severely Low Penguin Population

http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-41608722

The Adelie penguins have suffered two failed breeding seasons. This was caused by global warming. There was an excessive amount of ice formed later than usual, causing penguins to have to go farther to reach a food source. This being enough of an obstacle, they must compete with fisheries and krill hunting. Many groups have stepped up to donate to help fight against the decrease in this species.

There is no specific author listed on this article, but they care about the well being of animals and want readers to understand the importance of keeping the environment we all share a stable place for creatures to thrive. It is a negative article, but it can spread awareness of the effects of people polluting the Earth and denying the fact of global warming. Ignorance never brings positive change to anything. Hopefully, people will realize the true damage that is being done to this planet and its inhabitants.
