The Biggest Money Mistakes We Make- Decade by Decade
Angelica Salazar 1st period

This article is very informative on the topic of money and how, when, and why people spend it. It starts off by saying a very agreeable opinion that "money changes as we get older," and "so do the mistakes that we make with it." The article states that people in the age range of their 20's are less likely to spend money due to the fact that they will mess up on the big risks they could take. Furthermore, people among their 30's begin to think of the idea of starting a life with a family as well as kids. Doing this additionally leads to a forceful spend in money. Lastly stated, 40 or older are likely to not spend money and leave all payments for retirement.

As humans, the word 'money' can be referred to as a bad thing, so it is evident that throughout this lifetime, people tend to avoid spending something so valuable. All along through history, economic issues have occurred that even cause tremendous, global problems. Back in the 1800's, everything America did was based on profit. Manufacturing. Agricultural. Trade. Everything is always about what you get in return. Money has all the power, and it's disappointing that pieces of paper and circles of nickel and copper control the world we live in.

  1. I agree with you that money is controlling the world that we live in. It is sad to see people influence their entire life choices based on money, but, in a way, they are forced to because if they did not, they would not be able to support themselves. The world has been and always will be, unfortunately, very materialistic.

  2. I agree with you, Lauren. It bothers me so much that people live their lives on money (other than supporting themselves).
