Qiaunci Jones- Halloween or the Fourth of July?
Studies have shown that warm weather will follow us for the next few weeks. It's a surprise since it's fall and should start getting cold. The National Weather Service office in Dodge City, Kan., is calling for a “spooky hot Halloween” with highs near 90, challenging several records in the western part of the state. The super warm Halloween day closes a month that has been exceptionally warm throughout the Lower 48. There have been about 5,000 warm weather records set compared with only about 500 cold weather records
The article is significant because of this hot/warm weather it is leaving no room for the cold weather. This problem can cause droughts and loss of water flow. Also, it is out of the ordinary. Climate is a big subject, its ironic how during the debate they were asked questions about climate change. In a regular day, people won't even think it is a big deal, but years from now it might. This relates to the big global warming situation. If the world continues to get warmer what do you think would happen?

ReplyDeleteWe honestly need to take action now, and I don't like that it was hot today, made Halloween less fun.
ReplyDeleteReally I think the cause is of global warming. Many incidents can be connected to the warming of our climate and we need to take action and be made aware of it
