Mikenzie Moon, "Scores arrested as police clear Dakota pipeline protesters camp"

Summary: The inciting incident is  North Dakota construction of an oil pipeline which is taking away Native American rights and causing harmful environmental impacts. There have been many protesters and at least 141 of them were arrested. Law enforcements came to their camps and tried to shut down the protesting for public safety. "If they take everybody to jail, there will be twice as many tomorrow, and everyday that passes more will come". This was said by Vietnam War veteran Robert Eder. Whats cool is Shalene Woodley participated in the protest, but was arrested for criminal trespassing! In the article theres a video of her live stream and she says something like theres some divergent stuff about to happen.

Analysts/Summary: Its really sad that before Europeans colonized America only Native Americans lived her and now theres only little sections of our country that have small communities. Its unfathanable that this push of land is still happening today. Its similar to Cherokee Nation V. Gerogia were the state is trying to take natives land and the national government doesn't do much. I feel bad for the people and everything there going through and the mess altogether, but its important to try to look from different point of views. I also think people should be able to express there feelings in a nonviolent way without being arrested it kind of goes against the constitution.
