New York magazine labels Trump a 'loser.' -Bakari Williams

Summary: The article is just trying to justify the exact cause of the calling of Trump a loser on this major magazine cover. The calling of Trump, as the article says, could be capitalizing on Trumps use of single word epithets. It could also very well refer to how it looks like the election will turn out or maybe just blatantly a description of Trump. No matter the cause, the cover of the magazine makes a rather bold statement on Trump either way. However, no matter what the election results in, Trump has changed America whether people believe it was for the better or the worse. Trumps candidacy in itself symbolizes that there will be or is a shift in the Republican party and maybe in turn the Democratic party as well.

Analysis: This candidacy is related to almost any presidential election that came before the 20th century. Both candidates are running campaigns that are mostly focused on verbally abusing and dragging the others' name through the mud. Although in elections back then, there was more of a battle of the gun than just the podium, the some of the similarities are still uncanny, especially to those like the almost child-like behavior in the debates.
