Search for Girl in D.C. continues and deepens- Ashley Barnes 2nd

8 year old Relisha Tenau Rudd disappeared and went missing last week from a homeless shelter. The search was intensified when Washington D.C. police were able to focus on a subject based on certain evidence. Police are hopeful to find the girl, but they cannot ignore the fact that the man under investigation, Kahlil Malik Tatum, might have killed her. Mr. Tatum is also wanted for the murder of his wife.

On March 2nd, Kahlil Malik Tatum purchased a carton of black, self-tie contractor trash bags. He was also in the homeless shelter during the last day that Rudd was seen. Apparently he was also given parental permission to be with Rudd not long before she went missing. The police investigation intensified greatly when they found Tatum's wife murdered in a hotel. Tatum has not been seen since March 20.

I really hope that they find this girl. She has been missing for a week now, and I can't even imagine how terrible and dreadful that must be. Kahlil Malik Tatum looks like a pretty likely subject. Whether he is guilty or not, I hope they find him as well. This issue needs to be resolved.
