Climate Change Will Affect Everyone,Can We Help Change That? - Lizy Rutherford 4th pd

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a report documenting the effects of climate change globally, on natural systems and human systems, as well as documenting already seen effects of global warming. The report was worked on 400 authors who collectively reviewed 12,000 reports. The effects range from acidification of our oceans to loss of species to changes in rainfall patterns. However, this report had 'guarded optimism' written in: "We have a deep pool of options, we have a deep pool of experience, and I think a deep pool of creativity and innovation that can be applied to managing the risks from global warming," said Christopher Field, co-chair of Working Group 2, the group that produced the document.

Climate change is both something I really care about and something that deeply scares me. It's not like the Earth is adjusting different climates like during the Ice Age - we have changed that due to industrialization over the past 150 years. It only took 150 years to get to this point. Our Earth is more fragile than we realize, and we need to do everything we can to protect it.
