Train jumps tracks, 32 hurt at Chicago's O'Hare airport Ashley Barnes 2nd

This morning, a train appeared to go up an escalator as it was derailed. This type of wreck is considered unusual. 32 people were injured, but thankfully no one was seriously hurt or killed. Investigators are going to look at the front of the train's camera's to try to better conclude what caused the accident. One theory is that the driver might have fallen asleep.

Even though this is scary and unfortunate, I'm glad that no one was hurt. Train derailments are almost always completely disastrous, so I'm happy no one was seriously wounded. Hopefully they can prevent train wrecks from happening in the future.

It's such a blessing that everyone survived this horrific incident. Looking at pictures of the derailed train on the escalator, I'm sure there was immediate fear in the hearts of everyone near. If the investigation concludes that the accident was caused by the driver, charges need to brought against him.

  2. I saw video footage of this on the news, and it was horrifying. I can't imagine witnessing something like this. From the video footage, it even seemed that bystanders were in more danger than the passengers themselves.
