19 year old Ava Lins, former worker at 7/11,
gave a homeless man a cup of coffee paid for out of her own pocket.
Knowing what it was like to be homeless herself, she pitied him. Her
manager wasn't as sympathetic, however, and fired her the next day. She
entered her tale to be shared on the news and, long story short, was
hired by Citizens for Adequate Housing to take care of the needy. Like
Lins said, "good deeds pay off."
