"7-Eleven Clerk Who Lost Job Over Good Deed Gets a Better Offer" - Natalie H. - Class 2

Girl is fired for giving to the needy, gets hired shortly after to give to the needy. This article was featured March 20, 2014 (3/20/14) around 3pm on Yahoo! News.

19 year old Ava Lins, former worker at 7/11, gave a homeless man a cup of coffee paid for out of her own pocket. Knowing what it was like to be homeless herself, she pitied him. Her manager wasn't as sympathetic, however, and fired her the next day. She entered her tale to be shared on the news and, long story short, was hired by Citizens for Adequate Housing to take care of the needy. Like Lins said, "good deeds pay off."
