"Tradition falls after 100 years" - Emily Gray

After a 100 years of the famous tradition in New York, the walking Santa's on fifth avenue, finally hang up their coats. The tradition was meant for raising money for less fortunate families on Black Friday, but it has become outdated. A new tradition shall be started in the plaza hotel during the Santa photo shop, they will take donations.

This article was written by Reuters, Yahoo! News. This article was written to inform the holiday go getters of New York. I think that if is sad to have this tradition go away and thy shouldn't have it go away because even if it is outdated it is always fun to watch for new generation.

  1. I think it will be good to have a new tradition rise up. Things are meant to change.

  2. Agreed with Claire. As long as they are raising money to help other unfortunate families, then change is good.
