PlayStation 4 Sale Results in Death- Victoria Lennox 2nd Period

Like any other huge sale, the arranged sale of the Playstation 4 game console proved to be yet another to cause injuries/death. Less than three days after the game wen on sale, 25-year-old Emmanuel Johnson was fatally shot and another injured with gunshot wounds. The second man, not yet identified, planned to meet Johnson outside of the downtown police station at 4:30 p.m. However, their meeting location moved three blocks away near a gas station and a neighborhood for an unknown reason. Shots were then fired and both men were hit. Police do not believe others were involved in this shooting but are still investigating at this time.
I think that this is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t understand why a simple game console can result in injury, or worse, death. Literally, all you do is play games on the system. It just really is not that serious. I hope that these stories reach out to those who do wait in line at arranged sales. Hopefully they realize that it is not the end of the world.

  1. This really is ridiculous. Is the PS4 worth killing for?

  2. Its sad that there are people in the world willing to kill for a video game when there are people that are willing to kill for a bite of food or a drop of water.

  3. This is actually scary. People are killing others for a game that will soon go out of style and then there will be a new one coming out. people seriously don't have their priorities straight. I feel very bad for the family that lost their child. comment by Rhyann Lee 5th period

  5. People are crazy these days. I would like to say I'm surprised, I'm really not all too surprised based on recent occurrences. People are turning to violence as a solution to every little problem they face, and because of it, others have to die for it. It is truly sad that things like this have become so common.
