Student Kills Math Teacher, Then Himself, at a Middle School in Nevada - Victor Ragsdale 4th Period

Student Kills Math Teacher, Then Himself, at a Middle School in Nevada

A student at Sparks Middle School in Nevada shot and killed his math teacher and himself afterwards. The students had just arrived back to school from their week long Fall Break, and shortly before school started the student aimed the gun at some students, and the teacher protected the students from the shot saving the children.

What is wrong with people? I think Americans are begging that we just repeal the second amendment. Lately, there are so many incidents concerning weapons violence. In fact, the president has had to make for speeches about weapons violence than State of the Union addresses. It is obvious that Americans are beginning to become insensitive to the effects of poor weapons handling. How did this child get a gun? How did they get the ammo? What provoked his intent of shooting the children?

Maybe if we just start being more considerate we could avoid these issues. We could avoid so many problems by simply taking a moment to consider the consequences of the choices that we are about to make.

Tell me what you think about this...

  1. Yeah, I'm getting to the point where I don't care anymore. At least every month or two this past year, a shooting of some sort or incident has occurred. No matter how considerate we are in avoiding these issues, we still can't stop those who are mad enough to do something so sick.

  2. It is sad that almost every other article I see is about a shooting. People need to get their lives together and realize that killing people is not going to do anything except ruin your future. There are plenty of more proficient ways to go about situations than to take out a gun

  3. I think the 2nd amendment should be taken away. It sounds extreme but Americans need to see consequences. If the rights we are given aren't protecting us, they should be taken away and thats what should be happening now.

    1. But laws are for the civilians who follow them, if we take out the second amendment, criminals will continue to use the weapons anyway. And the civilians who follow the law would be defenseless.

  4. This is ridiculous. I find it very alarming how KIDS are easily gaining acess to harmful weapons. I just wonder what could have made this kid bring a gun and shoot, not only a teacher, but himself as well.
