Timothy Dwayne Tutterrow, a 46-year-old man was charged with three felony counts of assault in North Carolina. While at the State Fair in North Carolina Timothy tampered with the ride called The Vortex. While the riders were getting off of the ride the ride restarted and went in motion causing five people to be injured. He was also charged with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily injury. "After inspection of the ride, we determined that it had been tampered with and critical safety devices were compromised," Harrison said. Five people in total were injured, three of them were hospitalized and the other two were released. Also in that five was another ride operator, all of them were in between the ages of 14 and 39 years old.

Analysis:
I feel like they need to do more investigating, even though there is some evidence I feel like the ride starting may not have been only his fault. They need to investigate on the ride also, just because he does have a history I think it would still be a good idea. Don't point fingers just because you can, find an actual reason first the point fingers to whom is actually guilty.
