Kolina Hocevar period 5 terrorist attack

Terrorism is always and increasingly becoming a tactic of warfare. The number of attacks hit its highest in 2012. More than 8,500 terrorist attacks have killed nearly about 15,500 people last year throughout Africa and the Middle East. There is a 69% rise in attacks and an 89% jump in fatalities from 2011, sail START, one of the world's leading terrorism trackers. Six out of the seven most deadly groups are associated with al Qaeda, according to START, and most of the violence was committed in Muslim majority countries. In the past the record attacks was set in 2011 with more than 5,000 incidents, for fatalities the previous high was 2007 with more than 12,8000 deaths. In September, Sunni and Shiite leaders meeting in Washington announced an agreement to set aside differences and address the "dire situation of unrest, destruction, genocide and refuges' in many predominately Muslim countries.

Peaceful engagement is the only way forward. There will never be enough drone strikes or NSA hacks to kill everyone that mistrusts and hates NSA hacks. The USA is creating more enemies than it can ever kill.

  1. These terrorist attacks and unrest have gone on for too long. Unfortunately it seems as if there is no way to come to a permanent peaceful solution. There will always be someone unhappy about something.
