Summary: The new Ipad mini is supposed to have a crisper retina look but Apple has struggled to get the task down. As a result, fewer Ipads will be put out in the market to be sold, only about 2 to 5 million. Its not a bad idea for Apple to have a smaller supply of Ipads, this creates more of a buzz for the famous products. Recently Apples popularity/sales have been slipping and now Android leads in them, the has caused Apple to be labeled as a one product company. Apple comments that the company has a lot more to go and plans on releasing a new Ipad version and a new macbook pro line that will have better battery life. All of these will create a stepping stone for the company.
Analysis: I'm a Iphone, Ipad, Ipod, and macbook owner and all of this crazy for me to hear. I thought Apple was always the most popular product ever to be honest. Its bizarre to know that Android is passing them up. I think Apple needs them, I think it will push them to step up their game and keep something really really good. I can see they have already started with their regular Ipad and Macbook pro computer line. Keep up the work Apple!

I agree. Especially following the death of Steve Jobs, they really need a stiff competitor to assure that they really can live up to their name. They need to become more creative with their products, rather than just dragging out Steve Job's ideas.
