Summary:
On September 3rd 2017 around lunchtime trump tweeted that he was considering stopping trade with any country doing business with North Korea, which include's china and india.I don't know if you have noticed, but almost everything that we own has that little "made in china" sticker so that could be a problem for the USA. Trump has boasted before on twitter so can he really do anything? We can only wonder what would happen if he sticks to his word: tons of jobs lost, and the economy on a global scale would be in shambles.
Analysis:
NBC news published this article and they are coming from america, the united states where most people don't agree with trump to a certain extent. This article was produced 1 day after the tweet so on September 4th 2017 after north Korea tested a nuclear weapon. I already knew that trump doesn't do exactly what he says so im not gonna believe him just yet. This was written for the peoples of america to further enhance their knowledge. Trump probably wont do much, he also said he was going to build a wall but where it at tho.
The only thing keeping us afloat from our debt with countries including China IS China! We are consumers and without producers like China we're useless. Severing a connection like that is dangerous as it is arrogant, then again I just described our president.
ReplyDeleteGoing off your comment I completely agree with you trump is just one careless step away from making America go down hill and disposing everything previous leaders worked for.
DeleteI agree completely. Trump is jeopardizing our country more and more every day. By cutting off trade from these countries, we could lose essential items we have lived with every day. He should go about mending things with North Korea in a way that won't hurt everybody else. We get a lot of items from China and India and without them we would have a lot less.
ReplyDeleteSam Wood Blog Post - North Korea Tests Hydrogen Bomb
ReplyDeleteSeptember 4, 2017
North Korea claims it has tested a hydrogen bomb underground. President Trump met with his advisors to discuss this test and what to do about it. In the United States response, Defense secretary James Mattis said, ”Any threat to the United States and its territories including Guam or our allies will be met with a massive military response.” Leaders of other countries including China, Japan, South Korea, Germany and France condemn North Korea’s actions. This nuclear test increases tension between North Korea and its neighbors and pushes the Trump administration to react. In the past, President Trump has threatened North Korea with “fire and fury” if they continued to challenge the United States. Sanctions are proving to be ineffective so other options such as military intervention must be considered.
This article indicates that North Korea is very unstable. This is scary for the United States because we know North Korea doesn’t like us and threatens to nuke us. It is also unsettling to North Korea’s neighbors who also feel threatened by their nuclear capabilities.
