President Donald Trump is planning on ending the DACA (Deffered Action for Childhood Arrivals) which has protected over 800,000 immigrants from being deported. He's also giving Congress a six months to extend protection renewals while still renewing currents permits. Several people across the nation are protesting against Trump's plan to end it, some of them including the Dreamers ( children under DACA).I think that getting rid of DACA is going to cause more tension between the White House and the people of the U.S. Abolishing an act and deporting the people that that act protected is horrible.

I agree with you, this is a horrible thing to do. Most of the children were brought over at a very young age and this act protected them and allowed them to stay in America. I recently saw a report that said if Drumpf deports all of them the US will lose half a trillion dollars in profit.
ReplyDeleteI agree, deporting children that were brought here by their parents with no say is, in my opinion, an awful thing to do. So many Dreamers provide for our country. From soldiers to artists, immigrants brought to the US provide so much for the country.

ReplyDeletethe thing about this whole situation is that there is no way that ending DACA is a good thing, no matter how you look at it. the poor children had no say to whether or not they were going to come over. its not like most of the dreamers are just living off of peoples money, they are actually TRYING to make a new life in america and its just sad that the president of the "land of the free" would take that away from them.
