Alycesandra Martinez- the results are in

I am doing a followup from my previous post on  DACA. The decision was made on Tuesday 5 2017. Trump put an end to what Obama did for DACA. The president states, " those in the country illegally are lawbreakers who hurt native-born Americans by usurping jobs and pushing down the wages." Trumps thinks he is helping america by making an end to things. After Mr. Sessions announced the decisions, many protest broke out everywhere including the white house . The statement that Mark Zuckerberg said really got to me. He said," It is particularly cruel to offer young people the American Dream, encourage them to come out of the shadows, and trust our government, and then punish them for it." They have felt since 2012 they had  some protection and now they don`t. Then hours after the decision was made trump was having second thoughts, he called on congress to "legalize DACA" If this did not happen he would come back to it again, which led a uncertainty to many all around the world. Personally I don`t think trump knows what hes doing one minute hes for getting rid of it and then then next hes taking back what hes done. He needs to be smarter about his decisions that he makes and not regretting them in a few hours.

Soon after trump released it our former president Obama spoke out about the situation. Obama had been helping and still is fighting for the DREAMERS since his presidency. Obama urged Trump not to publicly and private conversations, but trump did not listen. Trump stopped one of  Obama`s significant immigrant policy. Obama stated." Now that the white house shifted its responsibility for these young people to congress, it`s up to the members on congress to protect these young people and our future." Now it`s all up to congress to see where it goes. I just hope things will turn out right, and it needs to happen quick!!!

  1. Trump is spending his term undoing the things Obama worked hard on to improve America instead of giving his attention problems that actually need fixing.

  2. I agree with you on the trump regretting laws that he make. it is so unbelievable that so many people may get deported from a person that doesn't know what they are doing.

  3. Trump doesn't realize that these people were raised our "cohesive" nation and are now losing everything they've ever known.
