It is seems that every month, our nation takes a large step forward to being a more progressive and accepting world. However, it seems that every week, we take an even larger step backwards with stuff like this. It's not fair for people to have to live in a world where they may fear for their lives every time they walk outside their house. This isn't an issue that should have to be addressed in 2017. This should have ended long ago, however racism continues to affect people everyday. Events like this are the reason our nation will be occupied by people who fear for their lives, when, in reality, people came here for happiness and freedom from events just like this. This is unjust, unfair, and disgraceful.

  1. High schools and colleges should be more strict on controversial and political statements being shown throughout school events and parties.

  2. I agree, for everyone should know by now that we support only equality, yet people continue to do shit like this.

  3. I agree that it's hypocritical for Americans to be so proud of the freedom and liberty in this country, yet discriminate towards other people. Racism is an issue that should've ended a long time ago.

  4. I agree, equality should always be the main priority. Some people have no heart or remorse for anyone now. So sad and awful. This shouldn't even be a problem>

  5. I agree, it's sad to think there's still issues like these and that people still have to go through them. It should be obvious by now that we're all humans, and that we're all equal no matter what race, sexuality, religion, etc we are. It's disgusting there's still racism today.

  6. It's depressing that this is what our nation is like today. How can some not have the common sense to treat people like people? Are equal rights not a thing in their mind? The color of one's skin does NOT mean they are any less human/deserving of rights than others.
