Mnuchin: Sanctions on Countries Trading with North Korea Ready for Trump to Sign.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin has prepared an executive order that will allow President Donald Trump to sanction any country that continues to trade with North Korea. Mnuchin says this will occur if the UN won't pass the new sanctions. Earlier today at the UN meeting, the US proposed a solution to the rising North Korean threat which included a broad range of sanctions on North Korea. For the past few months North Korea has become a major threat due to their successful nuclear missile tests. Just last Sunday, North Korea announced it's 6th successful weapon test. The tremors which were monitored by officials appeared to have been the most powerful weapon North Korea has made yet. Although sanctions were made by the UN, Mnuchin believes it isn't enough and more sanctions are crucial. Although Defense Secretary James Mattis warned of a massive military response to any more threats, Trump said earlier today that military actions isn't his first choice. This occurred after a phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Analysis: My thoughts on this are with Treasury Secretary Mnuchin because continued North Korean missile tests will eventually result in a actual successful ICBM with destructive capability. In order prevent this, the tests need to be stopped now more than ever. I don't know exactly why North Korea continues with their tests when most of their allies are against continued testing. The only ally that hasn't said much about this is China and that's mostly because they don't want to agree nor support the US.
