Hurricane After Hurricane -Alex Travell

http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/11/weather/florida-keys-destruction-hurricane-irma/index.html

In recent days, the Florida Keys have been struck by the massive Hurricane Irma. Official have struggled to reach majority of the affected areas. While many areas are without water, power, and communications, officials have decided it would be best to close The Keys to the public. There are even reports saying that the main pipeline that provides The Keys with drinking water has been damaged, and this is definitely not good.

This situation reflects the idea that even though we have our separate differences, we have always banded together as a nation to help those in need. We may be in debt, and we may have different opinions on religion for politics, and we always have, but that doesn't change the fact that when one part of this nation falls, we all fall, and when one part rises, we all rise... together.

  1. It's astonishing that even though this crazy hurricane after hurricane after hurricane thing is going on, some people still refuse to believe in climate change.
