Trump Picks Oklahoma Congressman to Head NASA

Picked as the next leader of NASA by president trump is a fighter pilot who not only wants to go back to the moon but also doesn't believe that we are the cause of climate change. Rep. Jim Bridenstine of Oklahoma will first have to be approved by the senate before taking charge. He has a background of being the director of  the Tulsa Air & Space Museum & Planetarium. He is also a veteran navy combat pilot who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan and who is currently serving in the Oklahoma Air National Guard. He does seem to have pretty good ideas of what he'd like to do as the next leader of NASA but his views on global warming are quite alarming to scientists.

From reading this article I can see that his background in studies are...promising? But his belief that global warming isn't caused by humans kind of alarms me too. I'm just glad that he would be willing to be able to study more on our climate

  1. I agree; space travel is a big deal but the whole "not believing in climate change being our fault" thing might raise some eyebrows.

  2. Yes, space travel is important not only for the US, but for the advancement of modern science as well. I also agree with your statement on climate change, as I think that it's undeniably a problem caused by humans.

  3. It's nice to study more about our climate. Learning about our Earth is very important and I am glad that we are taking more steps to learn about this.
