#Thatsnotlove (Alejandra Hernandez 6th period)

Summary: This article is about how common domestic violence in relationships has become.  A girl has created an extension of the One Love foundation in her college to raise awareness. The University has created small animations comparing a healthy relationship to an unhealthy one. The animations are simple enough to show even younger kids, not just college ones.

Analysis:I think that its good to spread this type of information, when one isn't informed it causes things like this become more and more common. This can relate to when women wanted to abolish alcohol. They thought that alcohol was a direct result of domestic violence(which it could be). So domestic violence has always been an issue but since it was considered okay, no one did anything about it. I'm grateful that as a society we have grown to realize that things like domestic violence are not okay.

  1. I'm glad it's in a format where little kids could understand because as a child, your mind is molded by your surroundings and you will think abuse is normal when it's not and kids are really the ones who need to differentiate between things that are okay and not okay. It shapes the rest of their life.

  2. This is awesome. We can make domestic abuse awareness more accessible to a wider crowd and properly relay all the information needed.
