Equal Pay Day: When, where and why women earn less than men by M'Lynn Musgrove

http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/12/us/equal-pay-day/index.html

Equal pay day is a day (April 12th) where women's pay has caught up with men's pay from the year before. Women tend to frown upon this day because it highlights the reason the feminist movement exists. Although there are more factors such as race and age that go into how much a human is typically paid, the consensus is that women are paid far less.

This is yet another article on feminism! and why the movement exists! It is important for both men and women to understand why the movement exists and what it is doing for us! Every year, along with reminding us how white boyz get everything, April 12th shows us that the gap of what men are paid vs what women are paid is getting smaller! YAY!

  1. And yet so many still fight to stop women from receiving equal pay and equal rights calling sexism a myth so this is an important day to remind ourselfs of what's important
