Three coordinated bombings, one in Maalbeek metro station in Belgium and two at Brussels Airport in Zaventem, happened in Belgium this morning. ISIS has taken responsibility for the bombings and three men have been identified as the bombers. Two of the three men and at least 31 civilians were killed while 250 others were left injured. The third man is currently being hunted down.
These attacks remind me of Communism's growth post-WWII. After many countries were taken over by communist dictatorship, the US lost its cool. The US went through another Red Scare while other countries were being taken away by Russia's infamous system. The attacks in Belgium could be seen as the Vietnamese War. Innocent lives were lost, a country was devistated, and it was all thanks to another country with too much power.
