After the Brussels suicide bombing a and reported gunfire, leaving 31 dead and 300 wounded, authorities late raided Schaerbeek's apartment where they found plenty of hazardous chemicals and dangerous materials to make bombs.
Belgium's prime minister says there needs to be more protection to fight against the war on terrorism. Investigators have already found several terrorist plots that would take place in other parts of Europe.
This is very similar to the Paris attacks. While its there should be more protection in Europe, the entire idea of a war on terrorism is almost impossible to defeat. We are waging a war on an idea, so it's not like you can get rid of everyone and have it be over because ideas always spread. It is incredibly saddening to here of constant reports of these attacks and it's only sadder that there is such a limited amount of things to do in order to prevent this.

It is scary how large the proportions are of the War on Terror. It is even scarier to think that this may lead to a nuclear war, which has been feared since they were first introduced during WWII and further during the Arms Race of the Cold War.

It is very scary to see how fast that terrorism has spread throughout the world. But I agree with the Belgium prime minister, that Europe needs to start coming up with plans to protect themselves from terrorism.
