Volcano erupts in Alaska By: Emma Wall

http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/28/us/pavlof-volcano-eruption-alaska/index.html

This article briefly describes the massive volcano eruption that happened in Alaska.  The eruption spewed ash 37,000 feet up into the air.  It was Alaska's very own Pavlof Volcano that unexpectedly exploded.  It trailed 400 miles over Alaska.  It has caused many flights to be cancelled as it has disrupted the air traffic.

This is crazy!  What if the volcano would have exploded as a flight would have flown over it?  I thought that they could predict when a volcano would erupt?  This one was so unexpected, however.  This is odd to me because it is known as one of the most active volcanoes in it's location so you would think that scientists would keep an eye on it.

  1. This is sad. The volcano came out of nowhere and could have killed many creatures.
