Nancy Reagan, former first lady, died in her sleep Sunday night at age 94 due to congestive heart failure. "Mrs. Reagan will be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley California, next to her husband, Ronald Wilson Reagan, who died on June 5, 2004." Many U.S. political figures such as President Obama, former first lady Barbra Bush, Mitt Romney, etc. all had warm and happy comments to contribute at the news of Mrs. Reagan's passing.
Nancy Reagan was known as the "Just say no" spokeswomen for anti-drug campaigns and as a fervent protector of her husband both politically and personally. There is a quote in her White House biography that says, "My life really began when I married my husband." This news is really very sad but I think in these situations it's important to look back on the good and happy memories of the ones we have lost. It's really what helps keep them alive and here with us.
