"Inspiring 8 Year-Old Figured Out How To Feed The Hungry In His Community For A Year" - Natalie H. - Class 2

Instead of spending time watching screens like most kids do, a certain boy works to feed other kids his age. This article was featured today, April 21, 2014 on the Huffington Post, shared by Sunny Skyz, a website dedicated to sharing daily uplifting stories.

William Winslow, an 8-year-old boy from Raleigh, N.C., heard last year about BackPack Buddies, a hunger relief program for kids in his neighborhood. He has been raising funds and collecting food cans ever since. As of last weekend, he gathered 3,335 pounds of food and more than $3,000 in donations, and Winslow is still going strong in helping feed other kids his age. Keep going, Winslow!
