Summary:
Today in Mississippi a huge tornado formed and threatened many people across the U.S., killing 16. The tornado swept through Tupelo, Mississippi and destroyed hundreds of trees, homes, power lines, and cars. Not only was this area affected, but so was parts of Alabama, western Georgia and Tennessee. Even an elementary school was completely torn down to the ground. People are saying that this storm caused so much damage that it will not be a quick recovery for the areas and families that were affected.
Analysis:
I can't imagine what it must be like for these people affected by this storm. The devastation they have to face after members of their families died and their homes were completely destroyed is terrible. Hopefully these areas damaged will soon be rebuilt and the unity of the people will become stronger through this. It's crazy how much one storm can change people's lives so much.
