Koko Chen - Spain's minimum wage increases by 22%

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-46539748

In this article it talks about how the minimum wage in Spain has jumped to 22%, because of many peaceful protests, and people fought for it to deserve it. It is known as one of the biggest minimum wage increases in history. I am very glad that they are paying  people more because honestly some people work so hard and barely make any money to live by.

This relates to history by the way of protests and people fighting for what they believe in. For example when women fought for women's rights, they protested and formed movements and it has brought us to where we are today and we are only getting more and more stronger.

  1. I'm glad that Spain decided to increase their minimum wage because that means that unemployment rates will drop and more people will be able to make enough money to adapt to an expensive 21st century.
