Camille Cole - SUNY finds Nazi Propaganda Posted Around Campus
Summary: At SUNY Purchase, this Monday, Nazi-themed posters and propaganda was posted around campus. This came on the last night of Hanukkah. The campus released a statement to faculty and students addressing the act and saying that punishment will be coming to those that did it.
Analysis: This is absolutely horrifying. This is how hate starts in a country. With small acts like this that grow larger and larger until they are consuming the people to act in such a terrible way. Something must be done about anti-semitism on a national level that will take care of this and make sure that things like this will stop happening.

On a recent political campaign poster for the Democrats, Donald Trump was compared to Adolf Hitler. I wonder if this somehow connects or ties in with the SUNY propaganda incident.
ReplyDeleteThere have been so many recent instances of Nazi propaganda, this is really disturbing and it's like that they're connected in some way.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of not surprised. Now that is an understandably horrible thing to say, but I say it with good reason. Our country is such a wreck at this point. There is no stability to speak of, so it's the perfect breading grounds for behavior like this.
