"CNN to hold Democratic presidential debate in Flint, Michigan" - Leah Messinger (period 1)

This article discusses the plans for a democratic presidential debate to take place in Flint, Michigan on March 6th. The event will air live two days before the Michigan and Mississippi primaries in an attempt to include more debates in the schedule. This specific is significant because of its location in the city of Flint. Flint was recently hit with a very serious problem concerning their contamination  when there water supply was switched from their original source. While this situation is being sorted out it is an extremely crucial time for presidential candidates, Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders who are participating in the debate, to show their support for the city in their time of need and display how they would handle this type of situation in the event of their election.

  1. It is good that they are holding the debate there, because the more Flint gets recognized, the better. What happened to them is horrible.
