Marco Rubio has finally started persoally attacking Trump during his rallies. He not only makes fun of his looks but also says that he is a "con-artist." He uses Trump University alumni, who earned nothing but a lot of debt from the university, as an example. He points out that though Trump acts tough when it comes to illegal immigration, Trump used undocumented Polish immigrants to build his Trump Tower. Every time Rubio made a joke or remark about Trump, Rubio's followers at the rally erupted in thousands of booes. The problem with Rubio's remarks is that he started making them so late in the election, Trump might not be so high in the polls right now if his opponents had started attacking his campaign earlier.
I think it is fair for Rubio to make remarks about Trump's contradicting remarks and to call him a "con-artist," but I do not think Rubio should be sinking down to Trump's level by commenting on his appearance. Trump constantly insults Rubio's appearance, but I do not think Rubio should be retaliating. These attacks are similar to the attacks between Stevenson and Eisenhower in the 1952, when Stevenson's campaign released a cartoon that played on Eisenhower's indecisiveness and contradicting answers.

I think it is ideal for people to call out trump like this publicly, maybe it will persuade people not to vote for him
