Virginia shooting of a reporter and a camera man killed on live News Broadcast

Flanagan shot 17 rounds and killed Parker,24 and Ward,27 on August 27, 2015 during a live interview. What our main question about this horrific event is what would give this man the motive to kill the reporter and camera man?

Flanagan's mind set said from investigators was he had many issues with many other news and broadcasting stations he had sued one other of his stations for "Racial discrimination" . Apparently Flanagan had recently been fired from WDBJ and he had been planning this out-lash to "get revenge" to say the least for what he said he had been "bullied by fellow co-workers" which had finally set him off. Flanagan also had lots of history with problems like this eledged reason, I guess you could say he finally snapped. He was said to have many anger issues as seen through his social media pages. He expressed through videos and statements on his pages. Flanagan was in a serious mental state at this point, which led Flanagan to take his own life after taking the life of Ward and Parker. My opinion on this matter is its crazy how so many people are killed for unreasonable and unrealistic reasons I feel our nation needs a new employee like psychological exam to help prevent more people who aren't in the right mental state to handle these pressures.

  1. How could he have gotten so mad to take two lives?

  2. Obviously innocent murder is something our society struggles with daily, but what I don't understand is why something so vague? I mean, he probably needs to go to a mental hospital or something. I mean, he was willing to prove a point so much that he was willing to risk his own exposure and kill two other people. That is ridiculous to me.

  3. Amen! Half the reason these kinds of horrible shootings go on is because someone has some sort of mental issues and no one does anything(Virginia tech shooting) My opinion? Make regular psychiatric visits a peace for jobs and don't sell guns to people with past mental issues
