Avery Yoss- Texas Deputy was Gunned Down while at a Gas Station
Deputy Darren H. Goforth, age 47, was at a gas station on Friday night, getting gas for his car. A man came up behind him and shot Goforth who then fell to the ground. The gunman then stood over him to shoot him some more. Darren H. Goforth died at the scene. The gunman gave no reason whatsoever for shooting this man, after the shooting he simply drove away. Luckily, the gas station had a camera that caught everything.
Analysis: This article angered and confused me at the same time. Darren Goforth was forced to leave a wife and two kids behind for no apparent reason. Goworth had never done anything before to hurt or anger a specific person or group of people, so killing him did nothing to benefit anyone.

ReplyDeletei can see why this angered you because the killing had no intent, it was a random murder. its sickening that someone would just do this to another person. Goforth died for nothing.
