Obama changes name of Mt. McKinley Rodney McDonald 9th Period

Mt. McKinley is the highest mountain in the United States, and located in south-central Alaska. President Barack Obama has now decided to change the name of this mountain back to its original native American name Denali. Though Ohio's GOP Representative Mike Turner said that he would fight against the president on this decision.

Analysis: I honestly feel like there shouldn't be a problem. Because of the small fact that we killed, infected, and took the land from these native Americans, and the least we could do is let them have their name back. Because President McKinley will always be remembered for he was a white male in America.

  1. Honestly i like Denali better . It just has an original flow that Mckinley doesnt have. Let Barack change the mountain's name. He is the president of the United States. Can't they just give it to him? He desrves a mountain. No. He deserves more than that. - mariela lomeli

I don't even see why this is being argued about? Does anyone know who President McKinley is, or anything significant he's done? Because I sure don't. :\
