Knowledge: I did not know the subject of the article, in all honesty because
this subject is mentioned a lot in current events I am really trying to
understand what makes this article stand out, out of all of the other recent
shootings of law enforcement.

The article is written for communities nationwide to support their law
enforcement. This is a negative influence in hopes of a positive outcome with
the situation.
Reason:
This article was made to get the attention of everyone so we won’t harm but
help law enforcement, because they’re here to protect.
Point:
The article is trying to convey a message that murder is wrong. No matter who does
it, it isn’t justified.
Significance:
The article is important because it projects an issue that has become a reoccurring
factor in society. I feel that with this article and with the issue becoming a
major one. Law enforcement may become more hostile in order to protect
themselves verses the public. It’s very relevant because the numbers of law enforcement
death is rapidly increasing soon there will be no one to protect us.
