Dellen Millard killed father as he slept and inherited millions
by BBC News
Summary: Millard was pronounced guilty of the murder of his father Wayne Miller, as well as two life sentences of previous murders. Millard had previously stated, after his fathers death that he had killed himself due to being an alcoholic and depressed. This caused suspicion for the employees at MillardAir, they recalled that Dellen and Wayne had some tension beforehand. But not until the disappearance of  Tim Bosma. Mark Smich and Millard went on a test drive of a car Tim Bosma was selling, during the test drive however Bosma was never seen or heard of again. Bosma's truck was found in a property owned by Dellen's mother, this lead to Millard being the prime suspect. When an investigation occurred on Millard, he was also traced back to the death of his previous girlfriend Laura Babcock (her death happened 3 months before his fathers). Once they traced things back, they reopened the case on Wayne Millard and prosecutors alleged that Dellen had killed his father to protect his inheritance and start a new business.
Analysis: When reading this article one thing kept coming to my mind, "this man is crazy" he had performed 3 murders not even in a span of 1 year and he just watched his whole master plan unfold right in front of him. This article reminds me of ways Britain would trick the colonies into giving them money, i mean of course they didn't kill all the colonist (even though they did crap over the Native Americans) they would try to undermine the colonies in any way to get profit off of them. Which in a sense its what Dellen was doing here, he undermined his father just to receive his inheritance (which he doesn't get at the end of the day).

  1. Its astonishing to think that someone murdered their father just to try and get money out of them.
